EchoCtl

SMS Messaging Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This page describes the SMS messaging program operated by EchoCtl Inc. (“EchoCtl,” “we,” “us”) using the toll-free number +1 (866) 740-1512.

What this program is

EchoCtl sends automated operational alerts by SMS to its own engineering and operations staff. When an automated build, test, or repair process cannot complete on its own and needs human review, the system notifies the on-call team member so the issue is seen and resolved promptly. These are internal, transactional notifications — not marketing.

Who receives messages

Messages are sent only to our own employees and authorized contractors on the on-call/operations rotation. We do not message the general public, and we do not sell, rent, or share recipient phone numbers.

How recipients opt in (consent)

Recipients provide their mobile number and agree to receive operational alerts as part of joining the on-call rotation, during team onboarding/setup. Consent is captured verbally / by internal agreement at that time. Providing a number is voluntary, and a recipient can opt out at any time (see STOP below).

Message frequency

Frequency varies with system activity and is event-driven (sent only when an alert condition occurs). Typical volume is low — roughly ~100 messages per month across the whole team.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging rates apply to messages you receive.
